Apprenticeship Manager: The essentials.

• Assessor Qualification (A1, TAQA, D32/D33..)
• Internal Verifier Qualification (IQA, V1, D34..)
• Teaching Qualification
• Knowledge of government funded employment and training programmes
• Good Understanding of New Apprenticeship Standards
• Experience of working/or understanding of Ofsted Visits, Awarding Body Criteria & Funding Compliance/Rules/Requirements
• Full UK driving licence and use of own car


Apprenticeship Manager: Your experience.

• Experience in a similar position
• Experience of developing, implementing and monitoring Quality Assurance Policies & Procedures
• Strong managerial experience of looking after teams of assessors and IQA's and monitoring learners progress
• Experience of carrying out OTLAs & writing SAR reports
• Strong knowledge of IQA & EQA Process


Apprenticeship Manager: The desirables.

• Level 5 Teaching Qualification
• Hold a Degree Level Qualification within Business or Education
• Experience of employer engagement and building strong relationships and networks within the sector


Apprenticeship Manager: The organisation.

• Having been established for over 13 years, this rapidly growing private training provider, specifically works with young people in a variety of education, sports and outreach programmes. However due to growth they also provide teaching/coaching programmes for schools and colleges across the UK, also deliver on government-funded projects and operate NEET Education Centres in London. Spanning across 4 main business areas, School Programmes, Education, Summer Camps and community projects and they work with a large client base of Authorities, Charities, Housing Associations, Colleges and Schools to name a few. With a strong but small team, they are looking for professionals within the sector to come and join them!


Apprenticeship Manager: The role.

• We have an exciting opportunity in the London area calling for an Apprenticeship Manager.
• Within this newly created role, you will be responsible for the management of the delivery of apprenticeships and WBL qualifications within this private training provider.
• We are looking for someone who has ideally been in a similar role so already has a strong understanding of WBL qualifications, along with Ofsted Inspections, ESFA Rules, Awarding bodies and other external bodies.
• The successful candidate will also help within the Quality Assurance within the business, so you will ideally have experience of developing, implementing and monitoring quality assurance policies and procedures, and there may also be a need for you to assist with the IQA process within the role too.
• You will be monitoring a small team within the business (which will grow) to ensure that all learners are progressing well in all areas of their qualifications.
• £32k - £37k (DOE & Qualifications)
