KM are currently recruiting on behalf of a private Training Provider who are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager, to grow and develop employer relations in order to increase learner participation for their Apprenticeship programmes, in a wide variety of vocations.

Essential Experience required for this role:
This role requires a self-starter who has experience of lead generation, along with proven experience of securing employer accounts for�existing workforce�(WFD) business development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Generate own leads via cold /�warm calls, field sales and networking to promote our clients wide range of Apprenticeship programmes, Recruitment service and the�SBWA�to�secure new employer accounts across your designated patch.
- Engage with businesses/decision makers to identify training needs, secure new/repeat business and promote our client as the Training Provider of choice.
- Deliver advice and support to employers about the Apprenticeship Levy and future funding reforms.
- Promoting the benefits of undertaking training to employers– overcoming barriers and giving advice and guidance to the most suitable avenue.
- Undertake Organisational Needs Analysis and design / develop training plans to match employer’s needs.
- Keep up to date with competitor’s strengths and weaknesses, evaluating the market and scoping out new opportunities.
- Cross sell other products, seizing all opportunities to offer clients a well-rounded service.
- Work with senior management in order to meet your target and growth plan for the area.
- Report sales data and forecasts on a regular basis.
- Work to monthly targets.

Essential Criteria:

- Experience of working within a Business Development / Sales role within Apprenticeships /�ESFA / WBL.
- Excellent knowledge / awareness of�government funding streams ESFA /�EFA,�LEP's, Levy, LEP's etc
- Proven experience of negotiating / winning / closing new business within WBL sales.
- Excellent communication skills – presentation, written and verbal.
- Exceptional sales, marketing and networking skills.
- Time management and organisational skills.
- Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.
