Principal Teachers are seeking to recruit a Key Stage 2 Teacher on behalf of a primary school in the Richmond area. The school requires an enthusiastic and motivated Teacher to teach their Year 3 and 4 class. The position is available on a full time basis for at least 2 terms starting after the October half term. Through the delivery of an enriching and challenging curriculum, the successful applicant will be required to engage and motivate students in this mixed lower KS2 class to achieve their full potential. You will have access to a wealth of resources and facilities to be able to making learning fun and create a purposeful learning environment with experiential learning opportunities. You must be able to cater to the needs of a diverse class including SEN students.

This thriving primary school is based in a rural area of Richmond and serves a small catchment area. The successful applicant will be required to commit to participating in the wider aspects of school life including school trips and extra curricular activities. You will be required to work effectively as part of a team and work towards the same goals and ethos. Staff are very well respected in the local community and you will become part of a thriving KS2 team. Applications are welcome from NQTs as well as more experienced teachers.

The successful applicant will have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognisable in the UK
* Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
* Previous experience of teaching in the UK
* Knowledge of the current Primary National Curriculum requirements for KS2
* Enthusiasm for the role and a creative flare
* The ability to form excellent working relationships with staff and pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds
* Experience of planning and assessment to a very high standard
* A commitment to improving attainment for all students
* A proven track record for raising attainment and achieving targets
