OVERVIEW: ACCOUNT MANAGER / IQA – HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE

 

We are currently seeking a qualified IQA and Assessor with a strong Health & Social Care background to manage relationships with existing employers and support the Quality Assurance process, ensuring successful completion of Apprenticeship Level 2 & 3 Health & Social Care qualifications for an exciting and upcoming growing training provider.

 

The role is covering the Greater London region and so travel across this area will be required. You will be provided with A Company Laptop, phone and any other equipment needed for the role.

You will possess a strong occupational background in Health and Social Care and have experience of building and maintaining relationships in this environment.

 

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: ACCOUNT MANAGER / IQA – HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE

 

  • Managing existing employers to make sure the relationships are solid and are producing new business.
  • IQA responsibilities and managing a small caseload of learners.
  •  

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: ACCOUNT MANAGER / IQA – HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE

 

  • Working with existing employers only, you will be responsible for contacting them once a month to see if they have any new learners to bring on to programmes or progress to the next level of apprenticeship. This can be done by phone or face to face.
  • Some IQA duties; Verify assignments, portfolios and assessment activity to assist in the management of the quality of accredited qualifications for all contracts ensuring both internal and national standards are maintained and needs of learners are being met.
  • Provide support and guidance as required through 1-2-1 sessions, group delivery and standardisation meetings
  • Manage a small caseload of 10 learners on H&SC apprenticeships. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES: ACCOUNT MANAGER / IQA – HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE

 

  • IQA Qualification (D34, V1 or TAQA)
  • Assessor Award (A1/D32/33 or equivalent)
  • Relevant Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, Cert.Ed., PGCE)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of building and maintaining relationships with employers
  • Strong occupational competence in Health & Social care
  • Literacy and Numeracy Level 2 qualifications
  • Excellent attention to detail/Time management skills
  • Passion for people development

 

SALARY/BENEFITS: ACCOUNT MANAGER / IQA – HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE

 

Starting salary range between £33k - 36k (depending on skill-set, qualifications and experience)

45p per mile travel expenses (paid from the home) or public transport expenses paid in full

21 days A/L + Bank Holidays
