We're seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Executive with previous sales experience within the Work Based Learning and Training sector, located in the Hertfordshire region. An accomplished ‘sales closer’, you'll have slick verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of B2B sales experience and the ability to confidently engage with senior members of staff. Bonus points if you also have experience in selling Management qualifications! Your hard work will be met with a great starting salary and potential OTE, plus company benefits! WBL Business Development Executive : The essentials.

• Full UK driving licence and use of own car
• Literacy and Numeracy Qualifications (at Level 2 or Above)
• Sales orientated
• Strong influencing skills
• Ability to manage own diary and self-motivate

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a similar role
• A proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets
• Sales experience in the Work Based Learning and Training industry
• Proven track record of B2B sales experience
• Proven and successful experience of selling face to face and via the telephone

WBL Business Development Executive : The role.

• This is a great opportunity for a sales professional with experience in the Work Based Learning and Training industry to move into an exciting new Business Development/Account Management role!
• The ideal candidate will need to have the ability to generate new business opportunities using various sales techniques in order to build up a portfolio of new clients.
• You are also expected to account manage existing customers with a view to gaining up-sell opportunities.
• You will be responsible for the management of the sales process right through to completion.
• As well as qualifying and following up inbound leads/enquiries, you will proactively identify and pursue new opportunities, and convert to sales.
• You will keep accurate records and produce meaningful sales reports.
• Initially the role will be office based in St Albans, and after completion of induction period the role will become field based with travel around local region.
• Up to £28,000 basic OTE £40,000
• 22 days holiday plus statutory days
