Job Description:
Working closely with the support of Business Development Executives (BDE) to deliver high quality training, assessment and support to students in their workplace.

The post holder will carry a case load of students weighted according to the duties of this role. This will include assessing, training and where appropriate internal quality assuring. You will be working within a highly motivated team to contribute to the continued success of the department.

Job share may be considered for this post. This post will require a DBS check.

Education/ Qualifications:

- Minimum of Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Maintenance
- Possess or being willing to work towards TAQA L3 assessor award
- Possess a teaching qualification or prepared to complete PTLLS or the revised equivalent.


- Provable and relevant industrial experience
- Provable and relevant experience of assessing and verification
- Liaising with industry and employers.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Conversant in the use of PC’s and software packages particularly Microsoft Office
- An understanding of the significance of equality of opportunity
- Able to work autonomously and resolve problems in dynamic situations while working to deadlines
- Knowledge of recruitment and progress monitoring processes
- High level of literacy and numeracy
- Knowledge of safe working practices
- Ability to travel to other College sites and workplace locations as and when required
- An understanding of the significance of equality of opportunity
- An understanding of the importance and relevance of safeguarding within the educational environment
