Health & Social Care Assessor/Trainer: The essentials.

• Assessment/Assessing/Assessor Qualifications (A1, TAQA, CAVA, ACWE, AVRA, IQAA, A2)
• Sound understanding of E-Portfolio assessment systems
• Full UK driving licence and use of own car
• Knowledge of SFA funding


Health & Social Care Assessor/Trainer: Your experience.

• Occupational history and competence within the industry
• Experience in a similar role
• A proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to motivate and encourage people
• Observing and assessing learners in their workplace
• Knowledge of the following software packages: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Publisher


Health & Social Care Assessor/Trainer: The desirables.

• Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd, 7407)
• Verifier Qualification (IQA, V1, CAVA, EQA)

Matrix Accredited, our client works closely with some of the UK’s leading businesses delivering tailored training plans for a growing number of customers with a high success rate of learners. They are the preferred supplier for training to the NHS working with over 30 trusts.


Health & Social Care Assessor/Trainer: The role.

• To carry out assessments of candidates in the workplace in accordance with Awarding Body requirements.
• To develop training materials which will enable the candidate to generate evidence against requirements.
• To carry out reviews of candidate’s progress and achievement within an agreed timescale which are regularly shared with the relevant employer.
• Assess and Train Learners in Health and Health & Social Care levels 2&3 in their workplace.
• Managing an established caseload of up to 38 learners across West/Central London and Hertfordshire.
• £26,000 to £28,000 per annum depending on experience
• Travelling expenses at 40ppm
• Work tools such as laptop and mobile phone
• Pension scheme
• Very attractive holiday entitlement together with further training and outstanding career prospects and progression
