Protocol are working with a large FE group to recruit a leader to manage the professional development courses and leisure learning curriculum area.

You will manage all programmes of learning within our professional development programmes (PDP) suite, including but not limited to CIPD, AAT and ILM courses and our leisure ‘PLAY’ provision.

 Overall ownership of the delivery of PDP & leisure learning programmes delivered by
 Line management of all delivery staff to ensure a high quality experience is delivered to all learners.
 Through the management of the team, deliver consistently good or better teaching and assessment within the delivery offer to add value to learners and their employers where applicable.
 Management of all key KPI’s, including financial performance and quality of delivery.
 Co-ordination of other external resources, including venues, examinations, etc.
 Regular reporting to head of traineeships and part-time programmes, on current programme activity, highlighting key risks and issues, as well as identifying areas of best practice to share with the wider team.
 To closely work with the work based learning quality manager and head of traineeships, to define the key areas for improvement and measure progress.
 Building strong community relationships, in order to facilitate opportunities for growth and development of programmes to support the delivery of the wider Hart L&D programme.
 Managing all programme data collection, including participation and progression data to maximise performance.
 Ensuring compliance with all associated funding rules and awarding organisation regulations are delivered.
 Responsibility for the recruitment and selection of new team members, ensuring sufficient capacity to meet current and pipeline learner volumes.
 Ensure high standards of Health & Safety at all times in accordance with regulations and college Policy, notifying the line manager or appropriate manager of any risks.
 Undertake observations and reviews to monitor trainer/assessor performance and progress.
 Monitor quality of teaching and learning materials
 Co-ordinate set up of new programmes
