Level 3 TA - Autism Specialism - Melton Mowbray - 5 days per week - Autumn term with a view to the rest of the academic year

We are seeking an outstanding Level Three Primary Teaching Assistant for a long-term role, to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with Autism joining in Foundation at a primary school near Melton Mowbray

You will:

* Be able to assist in the preparation and execution of classroom lessons.

* Engage pupils one-on-one and in small groups.

* Have a Level Three qualification in Child Care/Teaching Assistant qualification

* Have a valid DBS registered on the update service or willing to apply for one

* Be able to show evidence of right to work in the UK

* Be able to provide references for the past 5 years

* Use positive and effective behaviour management strategies.

* Experience of working with SEN pupils and have an interest or background with Autistic/ADHD children

* Team-Teach qualification is desirable, but not essential.
