A teacher of Music is required for a full time placement covering maternity at a Secondary school based in North West Leicester close to the Leicester / Derbyshire border.

School Details - The school is an above average sized secondary school including a small boys boarding school. The school was graded 'Good' by Ofsted at the start of 2015. The Ofsted report recognized excellent teaching standards and solid leadership as well as excellent behaviour and enthusiasm from the schools pupils.

Job Role - The successful candidate will be required to teach Music and Music Technology to KS4 and A - Level. Planning, lesson delivery and assessment are all required. The school has an excellent range of extra curricular activities for pupils therefore candidates will be expected to support in some out of school activities.

Candidate Requirements - Previous experience is desirable however NQT's are also welcome to apply but must have the necessary skills to teach History to A Level standards. The ability to enthuse pupils is a must therefore to apply for this role a pro active and positive nature is essential. Applicants will be subject to past school references and a current DBS check.
