Principal Teachers are seeking to appoint a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher on behalf of a secondary school in the Bedale area. The Head Teacher has approached Principal Teachers to recruit an inspiring and driven MFL Teacher on their behalf. You will be required to teach French and Spanish to KS3 and KS4 and inspire a love of learning languages. The position is available to start in September on a long term, full time basis. You will need to show a commitment to the role and flexibility to continue in the role on an on going basis. You will need to be able to plan and assess meticulously to cater to the needs of students with varying levels of ability and deliver a challenging curriculum.

Based in an area close to Bedale, this vibrant secondary school serves a large catchment area. Staff are very well respected within the local community and are recognised for their dedication to ensuring attainment for all. The Head Teacher is seeking a professional who can provide the students with exceptional learning experiences in MFL and cater to a diverse range of needs. The successful candidate should have a passion for French and Spanish with a desire to instil a love of learning in KS3 and KS4 students through the delivery of an exciting and stimulating curriculum. Behaviour across the school is good and you will be expected to consistently enforce the school’s behaviour management policy to ensure standards are upheld.

The successful applicant will have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognisable in the UK
* Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
* Previous experience of teaching in the UK
* Knowledge of the current Secondary National Curriculum requirements for MFL
* Enthusiasm for the role and a creative flare
* The ability to form excellent working relationships with staff and pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds
* Experience of planning and assessment to a very high standard
* A commitment to improving attainment for all students
* A proven track record for raising attainment and achieving targets
