PK Education are working closely with a very friendly and warming school in Durham who have had a urgent need for strong and experienced primary teachers to work in a flexible system incorporating KS1 and KS2. You must be able to work on your own to a high standard with strong behavior management while gaining the rapport and respect of the pupils

Excellent knowledge of the curriculum is essential for this 2 form entry school, while having good access links to local travel links. You will not always be supported by a teaching assistant but a strong group of staff will always be on hand. This is a testing role helping between many year groups. Passion with the willingness to work hard individually and as part of a team in order to get results are very important to the schools ethos.

To apply for this post, it would benefit you to be strong with both Maths and English as this is an area that requires further improvement in the school. Leadership and management of the school are good with real drive and ambition being demonstrated amongst the team.

PK Education also offer the opportunity to work on a day to day basis therefor valid driving license is desirable.
