Principal Teachers are seeking to appoint a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant on behalf of a primary school in the Harrogate area. The Head Teacher requires a motivated and committed TA to support teaching and learning full time in Key Stage 2. The position is available to start in September on an ongoing basis.

Based in Harrogate, the school is serves a large catchment area and is well resourced. The KS2 team require a motivated and committed TA, who will share in their endeavours to aid children to thrice academically, socially, emotionally and culturally. The successful applicant will need to show a willingness to engage in the wider life of the school and fully embrace the school ethos. You will need to demonstrate excellent curriculum knowledge and be qualified to Level 3 (supporting teaching and learning in schools). Behaviour across the school is good and you will need to demonstrate excellent behaviour and classroom management skills to uphold standards.

The successful applicant will have:

* Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (CACHE or NCFE or equivalent)
* Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
* Previous experience of delivering the primary curriculum and supporting teaching and learning in an education setting in the UK
* Knowledge of the current Primary National Curriculum
* Enthusiasm for the role and a creative flare
* The ability to form excellent working relationships with staff and pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds
* Experience of planning and assessment to a very high standard
* A commitment to improving attainment for all students
* A proven track record for raising attainment and achieving targets
