With proven assessing experience, and heaps of occupational competency within the Health & Social Care sector and experience at Managerial level within a Care setting (Ward Nurse, Care Home Manager) you're ready to hit the ground running! Assessors - Health & Social Care (Elderly): The essentials.

• Assessor qualification (A1, D32, TAQA ,IQAA)
• Teaching qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd)
• Health & Social Care qualification at Level 3
• Occupational Competence in the Elderly Care Sector
• Literacy & Numeracy qualifications (at Level 2 or above)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Outstanding organisational and time management skills
• Flexibility
• Sound understanding of E-Portfolio assessment systems
• Knowledge of government funded employment and training programmes
• Full UK driving licence and use of own car


Assessors - Health & Social Care (Elderly): Your experience.

• Minimum of 1 year assessing experience
• Occupational competency within the Health & Social Care sector
• Experience at Managerial level within a Care setting (Ward Nurse, Care Home Manager)
• Accomplished in completing paperwork in line with SFA and Award Body guidelines
• Proven track record of successful completion of portfolios, with high success rates
• A proven track record of meeting / exceeding targets
• Experience in a similar role


Assessors - Health & Social Care (Elderly): The desirables.

• Information, Advice and Guidance qualification
• Knowledge of Internal Quality Assurance processes
• Management experience in the care sector (Ward nurse, care home manager etc.)
• Management level qualification in care (RMA, NVQ4, Degree etc.)

Assessors - Health & Social Care (Elderly): The role.

• Reporting to the Learning Director on a Daily Basis we're looking for three professional, passionate & driven individuals to join a nationally established training provider to deliver Health & Social Care Apprenticeships Up to Level 3 within the North West Area, including Liverpool, Southport, and surrounding areas who are working in partnership with a National Care Home Provider.
• Working from home and managing a caseload of learners in your region you will be focused upon delivering a high quality service to candidates and their employers managing a caseload of learners of around 35-40 and working towards timely completions.
• You will be a fully qualified and experienced assessor ready to hit the ground running
• A competitive salary is on offer of £22,500 and an increase could be on offer up to £24,000 dependant upon experience & qualifications of the individuals
• Pension
• Mileage expenses are paid at 40p a mile
• Holidays include 26 Days & Bank Holidays
• Tools of the Trade including Laptop, Mobile Phone are on offer
