Fab Recruitment is working with a leading training provider who is looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking individual who has extensive experience within sales management, business development and The Apprenticeship Levy. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly successful independent training provider in the East Midlands.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this is a strategic leadership level position that holds ultimate responsibility for securing growth in Apprenticeship and commercial training provision. As such, you will ensure the company engages the necessary employers, partners and learners to provide high quality, demand-led training and development opportunities for businesses across the Midlands.

You will be focused on identifying growth opportunities within adult and youth Apprenticeships and the new Apprenticeship Levy. You will manage, lead and motivate a growing team of business development and marketing individuals to maximise opportunities and develop a comprehensive strategy for engaging new businesses in line with the organisation’s strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and motivate a team to develop and maintain new and existing employer relationships to maximise all opportunities to grow Apprenticeship and commercial training solutions
• Manage all marketing for the company and activities within the marketing team
Plan, implement and coordinate lead generation and marketing campaigns with sales activities and report on the impact
• Manage the sales and marketing budget
• Deliver advice and support to employers about the Apprenticeship Levy and future funding reforms
• Maintaining own knowledge of policy changes, funding changes and relevant business expectations
• Work with senior management team to deliver targets and growth plans
• Report sales data and forecasts on a regular basis
• Support your team to prepare and present sales proposals that convert to business opportunities as and when required
• Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans and measurable KPI structures

Essential Criteria:
• You will have experience of working within a Sales and Marketing role at managerial level, ideally within work-based learning and Apprenticeships
• You will have an excellent understanding of the Apprenticeship Levy
• Proven experience of developing relationships, influencing and negotiating with employers to secure new business
• Ability to mentor, coach and support staff
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with all people and at all levels
• Confident personality
• Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
