We have a number of exciting opportunities for individuals who are highly motivated, with a proven track record within a target driven environment. The role of Business Development Manager is a full time, permanent role, pivotal to the ambitious growth plans at CT Skills. The roles will be working with employers in the East Midlands therefore full driving licence and access to a car is essential, being geographically located in Leicestershire will be a distinct advantage.

The Role

You will be engaging and working in partnership with employers, advising on the Apprenticeship Levy and the transition from frameworks to standards, as well as conducting organisational needs analysis with employers to devise effective training and recruitment plans.

You will be proactively promoting CT Skills recruitment, training and development programmes through identifying, engaging and securing new business via outbound sales calls, networking, presentations and face to face meetings. You will maintain effective relationships with internal colleagues to ensure services are delivered to an excellent standard that will maximise opportunities to be provide added value programmes and services.

The Individual

You will need to be self managing and highly motivated with an ability to secure new employer clients through a variety of new business development approaches, including; cold calls, meetings, presentations and events.

Experience of working in a similar role is desirable as identifying effective workforce training solutions that address an employer’s current and future business needs will be crucial to your success. Knowledge of the apprenticeship reforms would also be advantageous.

You will also be required to be a team player and work closely with colleagues across the business to support the ongoing development of the CT Skills brand and reputation locally, regionally and nationally with emphasis on our promoting our apprenticeship offer.
