Principal Teachers are seeking to recruit a qualified Teacher of Maths on behalf of a secondary school in the Richmond area. The school has a vacancy for a dedicated Teacher of Maths to commence a full time position from September until at least December 2017. The Head Teacher is seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic practitioner to deliver an exciting curriculum to students in KS3 and 4 (Years 8, 9, 10 and 11).

Based in a vibrant area of Richmond, the school serves a large catchment area and is well reputed within the local community. You will become part of a thriving and experienced Maths Department where you will be encouraged to work collaboratively with your colleagues to share best practice. The school is well resourced and you will gain access to a wealth of learning and teaching tools upon appointment. You will need to demonstrate your ability to engage all learners within a diverse classroom and support students to achieve their full potential by offering personalised and differentiated lessons that support and challenge all. The successful applicant will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognisable in the UK
• Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
• Previous experience of teaching in the UK
• Knowledge of the current Secondary National Curriculum requirements for
• Enthusiasm for the role and a creative flare
• The ability to form excellent working relationships with staff and pupils from a
diverse range of backgrounds
• Experience of planning and assessment to a very high standard
• A commitment to improving attainment for all students
• A proven track record for raising attainment and achieving targets
