Protocol is recruiting on behalf of three Primary Schools (La Houguette Primary School, Vale Primary School and Castel Primary School) in Guernsey.

It is less than 100 miles from England's South coast with direct links with most major airports in the UK and a ferry service from Poole, Portsmouth and Weymouth. Permission has been granted for La Houguette Primary School, Vale Primary School and Castel Primary School to recruit inwardly to fill professional teaching skills gaps and an exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit for the following roles starting in September 2017:
1. Fixed term contract Teacher, La Houguette Primary (year 1) for 3 terms
2. Fixed term contract Teacher, Vale Primary (KS1) for 3 terms
3. Fixed term contract Teacher, Vale Primary (KS2) for 2 terms
4. Fixed term contract Teacher, Castel Primary School (KS2) for 1 term

Essential criteria:
1. A suitable teaching qualification
2. Inspirational teaching skills and the ability to motivate learners, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to achieve at the highest levels
3. An ability to demonstrate recent effective strategies to achieve high quality teaching and learning
4. The ability to work as part of a team in school
5. The ability to make effective use of current modern technologies to enhance teaching and learning
6. Understand how to use data effectively to monitor learner progress and achievement
7. The ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of people
8. Effective organisational and classroom management skills
9. Experience, understanding and skills relevant to the specific responsibilities of the post


If you are successful, Protocol is required to see evidence of your Right to Work in the UK, in addition to you applying for a DBS Certificate should you not already hold a valid certificate.
