Job Title: Learning & Development Coach
Role Reports To: Learning & Development Coach Team Leader
Role Location: Office Based - Nottingham
Salary Band: Competitive

Purpose of Role
The role of the Learning & Development Coach is to develop E-Learning resources for Apprentices and Employers based on schemes of work supplied by the Curriculum Managers. To support the development on internal learning resources on the Fuse Platform.
Main Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
• Develop, innovative L&D resources.
• Produce e-content for apprentices which is innovative and creative based on schemes of work and lessons plans.
• Monitor quality of e-content and training materials/resources.
Learning & Development Function:
• To deliver an effective, professional engaging L&D service to meet the requirements of employers and Apprentices.
• Design and deliver external video content for all sectors.
• Deliver core in house courses to all levels of the business
• Ensure consistency of materials and resources
• To develop good working stakeholder relationships
• Delivery of all electronic system training & support

Desirable Qualifications:
• Functional Skills ICT and English - Level 2 or equivalent

Essential Experience:
• Use of Adobe packages including- Photoshop, Premier Pro
• Use of storyboarding for video creation and e-learning courses
• Develop engaging animated and non-animated video content
• Video content capture skills
• Electronic system operation

Desirable Experience:
• Development & Delivery of L&D/Training
• Experience in embedding learning
• Training Provider background & sector experience

Essential Knowledge
• Adobe packages
• Video creation
• Commercial awareness
• SMART Targets

Desirable knowledge:
• E-Learning course building software
• Knowledge of LMS learning platforms
• Understanding of L&D process and practise
• Understanding/knowledge of either work based or educational learning either in Automotive, Hospitality, Retail, IT, Food manufacturing or Health & Social Care

Essential Competencies:
• Strong IT skills & highly proficient with Microsoft packages
• Ability to work in a responsive & pressured environment and prioritise own work
• Ability to work with limited instruction/supervision and take the initiative
• Attention to detail particularly around literacy, grammar and punctuation
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to inspire others
• Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude at all times
