Support Worker Trainer: The role.

• We are on the hunt for an experienced Support Worker/Care Worker Trainer to deliver worker induction courses, mandatory training and care certificates to support staff.
• You will be based in Sheffield primarily for your delivery, however you will be required to cover across the company's other site locations, including Manchester, so we ask that you have a flexible approach to travel.
• With excellent interpersonal skills, you'll be able to engage with the workers well to ensure the training is completed within the necessary timeframes and remain up to date.
• You will be well organised and have the ability to yourself design, facilitate and deliver sessions to diverse training groups and also ensuring that alongside senior staff a high-quality service is given at all times to not only support workers but clients and external organisations alike.

Support Worker Trainer: The essentials.

• Teaching Qualification (PTLLS Minimum)
• Level 3 Qualification within Health & Social Care
• Full UK driving licence


Support Worker Trainer: Your experience.

• Experience in delivering Health & Social Care training to a care workforce
• Good understanding of Skills for care/CQC framework
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage people well
• A Team player who is proactive and able to manage their time effectively


Support Worker Trainer: The desirables.

• Higher Level Health & Social Care Qualification
• Assessor Qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA, D32/D33..)
• Level 3 IAG qualification
• Knowledge of brain & spinal injury and RQF delivery.
