Health & Social Care Assessor : The role.

• We are on the lookout for an experience assessor who is able to deliver Health & Social Care qualifications to Level 2, 3 Level 5.
• You will be covering a caseload of 40-50 learners across the North West region so much be flexible in travelling and able to support learners when needed.
• There will also be a need to deliver on other generic qualifications such as Business Admin, Customer Service, Team Leading & Management so if you have the experience of delivering these qualifications too we certainly want to hear from you, in return you will be rewarded with a competitive salary and benefits package too.
• With a genuine passion and enthusiasm for people development you will be required to visit learners in their workplace, maintain learner documentation, plan and implement initial assessments and course reviews ensuring that learner portfolios are kept to the agreed standards.

• A DBS (formerly CRB) check prior to commencement of role is required.

Health & Social Care Assessor : The essentials.

• Assessor Qualification (A1, TAQA, D32/D33...)
• Literacy and Numeracy Qualifications (at Level 2 or Above).
• Industry Qualification (ideally to Level 5)
• Sound understanding of E-Portfolio assessment systems.
• Full UK driving licence and use of own car.

Health & Social Care Assessor : Your experience.

• Previous experience in the delivery/assessing of full apprenticeship frameworks.
• A strong occupational competence within the health and social care industry (ideally at senior level)
• Accurate report writing and record keeping skills as well as being able to manage your time/diary effectively is essential.
• Experience within a similar role.

Health & Social Care Assessor : The desirables.

• Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS etc..)
• Verifier Qualification would be advantageous.
• Qualification in generic subject areas.
