Health & Social Care Assessor: The role.

• If you're an experienced and qualified Health & Social Care Assessor looking for a new opportunity and qualified to deliver up to level 3 (level 5 desirable), this could be what you've been seeking!
• This exciting role will involve delivering apprenticeships in Health & Social Care in the workplace in and around the Staffordshire region.
• Working from our clients office in Newcastle under Lyme you will be managing a caseload of learners in your region and will be focused upon delivering a high quality service to candidates and their employers and working towards timely completions.
• £20,000 - £23,000 Salary depending on experience
• 40pm Mileage allowance

• 24 Days annual leave + 8 Stats

Health & Social Care Assessor: The essentials.

• Assessment/Assessing/Assessor Qualifications (A1,TAQA, CAVA, ACWE, AVRA, IQAA, A2)
• Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd, 7407)
• Knowledge of new apprenticeship/WBL standards
• A relevant H&SC qualification
• Motivation, enthusiasm and more importantly a flexible approach to work and duties are essential characteristics Full UK driving licence and use of own car
• Sound understanding of E-Portfolio assessment systems
• Knowledge of government funded employment and training programmes
• Literacy and Numeracy Qualifications (at Level 2 or Above)

Health & Social Care Assessor: Your experience.

• A sound occupational background within Health & Social Care
• You will have assessed NVQs up to level 3 (level 5 desirable) in a previous role and have experience delivering apprenticeship contracts including Functional Skills to learners
• Minimum 12 months assessing experience
• A proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to motivate and encourage people
• Maintaining records of learners progress

Health & Social Care Assessor: The desirables.

• Experience in delivering Level 5 H&SC qualifications
• Literacy & Numeracy qualifications (at Level 3 or above)
• Verifier Qualification (IQA, V1, CAVA, EQA, AIQAPP, CLIQAAP, AEQAPP, CLEQAAP)
