Post; Employer Engagement Consultant; Employability and Skills Division

Conditions of Service; 37 hours per week, flexible to meet the needs of the business; Annual leave entitlement 25 days per year plus statutory holidays
Salary; Negotiable dependant upon experience - car driver essential

Role Requirements

To engage with local employers generating interest and employer buy-in to our vocational/skills offer thereby generating programme starts. Our programme is funded thereby providing employers with a free up skilling& service; supporting employee development programmes and increasing workforce skills profiles with the aim to improve company productivity levels and employee progression. This will be achieved through understanding the employer business need and jointly developing solutions for employers of all sizes.

The ideal candidate will be someone who looks and acts confidently and professionally; They will engage and retain employers and sell our services well, they will be articulate, and enthusiastic, will do what they say they will do and work hard at maintaining relationships. They will be able to think on their feet and respond well to a variety of situations with exceptional communication skills and a strong team ethic.
