We have an exciting opportunity for a Room Leader to join a forward thinking Nursery with a very competitive remuneration and benefits package. You will hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 and have solid childcare experience.

You will be creative and an inspiring individual, who is already an outstanding Nursery Practitioner. The right candidate will lead the planning and implementation of activities, maintain the day to day smooth running of the room by working effectively with your team. You will promote positive behaviour of children and maintain effective relationships with parents/carers.

Their focus is providing a high level of care for their children, ensuring each individuals child needs are met, and are looking for someone who is going to bring that into their team.

Providing Nursery Care for 5 months - 3 years, with age appropriate rooms, as they appreciate each age is different and each room is specifically designed to ignite each child’s curiosity and facilitate development.

You will:

*Work as part of the Nursery Team
*Ensure staff/child ratios maintained
*Ensure records of children’s day completed
*Attend further training programmes
*Promote positive behaviour
*Support newer and less qualified members of staff
*Be a key person to a small number of children
*Lead the planning and implementation of activities
*Oversee the implementation of learning journals and planning in your room
*Maintain day to day smooth running of your room
*Organise and lead room meetings on regular basis
*Take on additional responsibilities as needed

Minimum Requirements:-

*Level 3 Childcare
*3 years experience
*Sound knowledge and experience on the needs of young children
