Want to work in a large post 16 facility in south east London?  If so this very friendly and inclusive facility require Learning Support Assistants specifically in the ICT and Creative Media areas  to provide high quality support for pupils studying classes in ICT/Creative Media and pupils with various needs. 

The successful candidate will be supporting pupils in the following subjects;

  • Improving Productivity Using IT
  • Imaging Software
  • IT User Fundamentals
  • Desktop Publishing Software
  • IT Communication Fundamentals
  • Multimedia Software
  • IT Software Fundamentals
  • Presentation Software
  • Using the Internet
  • Spreadsheet Software
  • Using Email
  • Website Software
  • Using Mobile IT Devices
  • Word Processing Software
  • Design Software

This  role will include;

• informing and advising other support staff deployed in lessons to enable them to effectively support students' learning

• ensuring effective communication with, and between, staff and students

• delivering particular strategies and programmes for students

• to lead on general support duties including behaviour and learning

This School caters for children aged between 16 -19. They have a large site with high quality teaching and the school has around 1300 pupils on role. Within the school there is a specialist inclusion unit to aid and assist the pupils with their learning.

Successful applicants will have a good general education including GCSE (or equivalent) at grade C or above in English and/or Maths. 

The successful applicants will require an enhanced DBS check and references will be taken up before interview.
