Tradewind is proud to partner with an Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" primary school in Sutton, currently looking for an enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support students in KS1 or KS2. This well-regarded two-form entry school is committed to nurturing children with a range of abilities, including those with communication and interaction difficulties and cognitive disorders.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting pupils with ASD and a solid background in classroom support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing 1:1 support to an autistic pupil in KS1 or KS2
- Leading intervention sessions for SEN groups
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Following EHCP targets for pupils
- Monitoring and tracking pupil progress
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant
- Strong understanding of supporting children with autism
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with explanations for any gaps
- Legal right to work in the UK
