We are seeking a caring, committed, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly mainstream primary school in Oxfordshire - Chipping Norton. This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support for a children, helping them to access learning and take part fully in daily school activities.
The Role:
- Provide individualised 1:1 support throughout the school day
- Assist with learning activities, personal development, and social interaction
- Work closely with the class teacher and SEN staff to support learning plans
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
- Support the child's independence, confidence, and engagement in school life
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience working with children in a primary school setting (desirable but not essential)
- Is patient, caring, and adaptable, with a positive attitude
- Communicates well with children, staff, and parents
- Is reliable and committed to supporting a child's individual needs
- Holds an Enhanced DBS certificate or is willing to apply for one
