Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
Pay: £85 to £90 per day PAYE

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Norwood. The successful candidate will support a boy in Year 1 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping him to engage fully in the school day and achieve his potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to a Year 1 student with ASD, ensuring his needs are met.
- Assist with classroom activities and encourage participation.
- Implement strategies to manage behaviour and support emotional regulation.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt learning materials and activities.
- Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to parents and staff.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly ASD.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs.
- Training in ASD-specific interventions and strategies.
