Here at Destination Education we are looking for a confident and creative individual to join a beautiful secondary school based in Havering from September, on a full-time basis.

This position is within a mixed comprehensive academy for students aged 11 to 16, that considers its workforce talented, hard-working and pride themselves on supporting their students holistically and encouraging them to have a positive impact on wider communities as well as the school.

Design and Technology Teacher Responsibilities:

* Teach Resistant Materials at a KS3/KS4 level
* Devising and delivering engaging lessons based on curriculum guidelines
* Encouraging students to participate and stay focused throughout lessons
* Setting and marking homework that allows students to continue practicing their skills outside the classroom
* Measure students’ progress
* Develop reports showcasing students’ achievements and behaviours

Design and Technology Teacher Requirements:

* Prior experience delivering KS3/KS4 Resistant Materials lessons
* Superior knowledge and passion for the subject
* Great written and verbal communication skills
* Basic computer skills, including the use of, Word and PowerPoint
* An organised individual with great management skills
* A creative thinker that will engage students and aid learning

Salary: £145 - £195 p/day (dependant on experience)
