As an award-winning college, we are always looking for exceptional staff to help us to grow our ambitions. We understand that education is not all about teaching and learning - it's also about supporting and developing our students so that they can achieve their potential. That's why we truly value our support staff.

Working from within the Inclusive Learning Services department you will be responsible for coordinating the transition into College, journey with us and transition into their next stage for our High Needs funded students and students with Education, Health and Care Plans. Duties include working with parents, carers and local authorities as well as our students and potential students. You will develop close working relationships with all staff working with our students so that the provision in their plans is carried out and students have the best chance of achieving their outcomes. Staff development in areas of working with students with particular needs will also be your responsibility alongside the ILS team.

You will be a passionate advocate for the rights of disabled people and also be able to see the big picture. There will be elements of scheduling, organisation and tracking funding so you will also need an eye for detail. You will be able to develop trusting relationships with students and their parents and carers as well as other professionals so that the College can support its students in the most effective way possible.

In return, we offer a warm and welcoming college with an excellent benefits package that includes:

* A 25-day annual leave entitlement, plus 8 Bank Holidays and 6 college closure days (plus an additional 5 days of leave after 5 years of service with us)
* A well-respected pension scheme (West Yorkshire Pension Fund)
* Free parking at all our College sites (on a first come first served basis)
* Family friendly policies and opportunities for flexible working
* Superb opportunities for training and development
