Intro: S Knights Recruitment are proud to be recruiting for a Specialist Tutor in Health and Social Care on a remote basis. Our client have been providing training programmes specifically in Health and Social Care for over 10 years, supporting learners across the UK. They have recently won some employability funding and are looking to grow their team. Our client is looking for an individual whom is confident in delivering the HSC course and has specialist knowledge in understanding Mental Health, Principles of Dementia care, Autism and Care and management of diabetes.

Role and Responsibilities:
As a Specialist Tutor in Health and Social care your responsibilities are:
- Developing learners knowledge in the sector specialist courses at Levels 2 and 3 such as Understanding Mental Health, Principles of Dementia care, Autism and Care and management of diabetes
- Regularly update the company portal by marking assignments, inputting feedback, setting deadlines to ensure learners are completing the course in a timely manner
- Managing your diary and setting up 1 to 1s with learners when required
- Engage and motivate learners throughout the course to ensure they are understanding the information given to extend their knowledge and skills of the subjects taught

Experience and Skills:
The Specialist Tutor in Health and Social care will require the following experience:
- Teaching qualifications such as CertEd, PTLLS, DTLLS, CTLLS, AET or equivalent
- Relevant assessing qualifications such as A1, CAVA, TAQA, D32/D33
- IT literate, the ability to confidently use Microsoft packages, CRM systems and online live platforms such as Zoom, Skype, Google classroom etc as this will be a remote role
- Experience in delivering Health and Social care in a classroom based environment
- Have knowledge in the specialist sector of Understanding Mental Health, Principles of Dementia care, Autism and Care and management of diabetes
- Occupational competence working in the Health and Social Care sector
