This organisation works with employers, community health teams, local government and others to provide tailored support to individuals.

Employment Specialist

Home based role with some travel required, when you need to meet candidates, to either:
Birmingham or Solihull (x 8 opportunities)
Coventry or Rugby (x 4 opportunities)
(Whichever location is nearest to you)

Permanent Position. Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm = 37.5hours per week.

Salary is £24,540.

25 days holiday + stats with option to purchase additional annual leave.

3.5 days paid annual leave for Christmas.

2 days paid per annum for volunteering work.

Duties

• Working with a caseload of max 30 participants who have health conditions which impacts on their ability to gain or stay in employment.
• Meeting candidates in either libraries or coffee shops. (Expenses paid)
• Meeting personal and team targets and KPI’s.
• Ensuring adherence to the company equality and diversity policy.
• Building relationships to generate referrals.
• Attend meetings.
• Delivering presentations
• Meeting and supporting the participant through their journey and monitoring their progress.
• Sourcing job opportunities.
• Promoting benefits of accessing employment.
• Assessing support needs of participant.
• Flexibility which may include working out of normal office hours.

Experience required

• Must be a driver with access to your own vehicle.
• Experience of supporting participants who have mental ill health, health conditions or disabilities, into employment.
• Microsoft teams.
• Experience of people development on a one-to-one basis.

DESIRABLE (Compulsory to be attained once in the role)

• IPS delivery experience and trained in the IPS approach.
• Holds a mental health first aid qualification.
