Trigon Recruitment are recruiting for a well established reputable training provider who’s offices are based on the Wirral. Delivery will take place in various locations throughout the Wirral and Liverpool. This will be managing a caseload and will be primarily remote working/working in the community.

Role overview of a Lead Housing Tutor
This role is as a Lead Housing Tutor is to deliver Housing qualifications and specialist bespoke delivery across the company’s funded and commercial portfolio. Including Apprenticeships, CIH qualifications, Tenant Housing Qualifications under AEB and Commercial. There may be requirement from time to time to support with other subjects dependant upon demand such as Customer Services / Business Administration, Team Leading etc) including Functional Skills (Maths, English and IT) up to Level 2 in line with our highest quality standards. As well as a variety of other classroom training courses commercially and support with Quality improvements, development of training materials and ad hoc projects utilising your knowledge and skills as appropriate.

Main duties of a Lead Housing Tutor:-
• Assessment; ensures the integrity of the training and assessment process for candidates on the Apprenticeship scheme and AEB funded qualifications
• Facilitates; Ensures teaching methods and learning checks are adapted to meet the needs of all learners in their individual work settings.
• Monitors progress and agrees development actions with learners and employers.
• Employer relations; establishes, nurtures and develops relationships with key stakeholders and employers at sites,
• Ensure documentation and systems are completed accurately in line with contractual and internal procedures.
• Adheres to quality assurance standards; liaises with the Internal Quality Assurer and participates in standardisation and verification visits.
• Works with employers and Account managers to closely identify additional employer training needs for Employers / learners and drive forward
• Ensure that learners are engaged, retained and on target for timely completion of learning aims Motivate and drive learners to achieve their Apprenticeships through exceptional teaching and learning
• Identify individual learner requirements
• Design and deliver a bespoke programme of learning matching learner / employer needs whether Apprenticeships or commercial delivery
• Assess, teach and support learners undertaking an Apprenticeship Provide information, advice and guidance throughout the learner’s qualification
• Maintain a caseload of learners
• Ensure embedding of Functional skills in delivery
• Progress learners at every stage throughout the qualifications and to support their long term career ambitions, supporting them on next steps following their Apprenticeship
• Monitor learner’s progress and maintain accurate learner records
• Attend standardisation meetings as required
• Demonstrate a commitment to promoting Health and safety, Equality and diversity and safeguarding the welfare of learners
• Have a strong understanding of Ofsted EIF requirements
• Working closely with the wider team to both support and drive continuous improvement throughout the organisation to support Quality Improvements throughout

Key skills and attributes required for a Lead Housing Tutor:-
• A key team player who is personable and bubbly
• A motivational teacher who can provide learners with new knowledge, skills and confidence in an exciting way
• Ability to complete paperwork to a high standard in a timely manner
• Must be a strong communicator, confident liaising with learners, learner line managers, employer key contacts, internal team, partners and suppliers
• Organised and methodical approach to work
• Capable to work within a fast-paced environment, managing workload in line with changing priorities whilst communicating updates
• Possess an understanding of the financial impact of delivering training and assessment, whilst always holding the learner and employer needs at the forefront
• Understand that the learner, employer and quality comes first, with a drive to always achieve the highest quality service
