We are looking for an organised and proactive individual to join our established awarding organisation. Our Development Managers are responsible for managing new developments and the product lifecycle for qualifications and assessments in a defined portfolio. Development Managers will matrix manage those involved in the development process, including Development Executives and the Development Administrative Assistant ensuring their products are delivered in a timely manner in line with published timescales, with appropriate assessment and support resources that are commercially viable and clearly reflect the regulatory and stakeholder requirements.

About the role

Development Managers will work closely with Compliance to ensure all new and existing materials for products they own are of a quality that would be expected by regulators and our customers.

The role is remote based although collaborative working with other Innovate departments will be required.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously in an agile fashion and be able to demonstrate experience of developing and maintaining high quality, demand led assessments, qualifications and support materials that are commercially viable and meet regulatory requirements

About you

We are looking for:

* Agile Project management general approaches, tools & applications for growth environments
* Funding and Government policy for the Education sector, particularly End-point Assessment and Regulated Qualifications
* E-Assessment technologies
* A strong understanding of end-point assessment for apprenticeship standards and qualifications
* Experience and an understanding of developing Qualifications and Assessment product to deadlines and meeting commercial objectives
* Understanding of the importance of stakeholder research and consultation and its importance within the development of commercial products in a regulated environment
* Comfortable operating and presenting at a Senior Management level
* Experience of working in high demand environments, to targets and tight deadlines
* Proven examples of being able to influence across an organisation
* Experience and understanding of E-Assessment and/or online support materials
* Extensive knowledge of Education sector, Apprenticeships and End Point Assessment with relevant Business Applications / Systems used in the industry
