Job Title: Management Internal Quality Assurer / IQA

Location: Home/Remote - with approximately 5 days per month travel across the North of England 

Salary: up to £30,600

The Role:

  • Oversee a team of Assessors who are responsible for delivering Leadership & Management Apprenticeships up to Level 5, ensuring that there is continuous improvement evidenced within teaching, training and occupational competency over time. 
  • Delivery and assessment of qualifications that are essential for the Assessors to achieve, e.g. CAVA / AET.
  • Coach, observe and develop field based Assessors to ensure they understand the standards, and deliver quality teaching and learning.
  • Plan and complete observations of the learner journey, including: enrolment, induction, on-programme assessment and EPA preparation.
  • Update and maintain sampling plans in line with company and awarding organisations requirements.
  • Monitor compliance and targets against learner attendance, learner journey and progression.
  • Implement action plans to ensure Assessors are delivering training to a high standard, and CPD is up to date.
  • Carry out curriculum evaluations and work to improve the delivery, ensuring that it remains relevant to the sector.

Essential Criteria: 

    • Must hold a recognised Internal Quality Assurance award (D34, V1, IQA, TAQA L4)
    • Recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
    • Must hold experience within a quality role within Management and/or Professional Services Apprenticeships.
    • Knowledge of the new apprenticeship standards.
    • Must hold relevant occupational competency within Management and/or Professional Services. 
    • Must hold a working knowledge of quality improvement processes and Ofsted requirements.
    • Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
    • Must be flexible with travel.
