An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader in Foundation Learning.

The successful candidate will be leading, managing and developing the curriculum area within the parameters set by the Director of Student Experience and Support. The candidate will work collaboratively and innovatively with staff to lead a culture of self-assessment and continuous improvement, promoting high standards of teaching and learning within the area, and producing high standards of student achievement, progression and value added. The team leader acts as the Lead Internal Verifier and ensures all quality assurance procedures are fully complied with. Activities such as ensuring a high quality of provision in response to student needs and promoting new ways of teaching are also part of the role. The team leader will manage all staff teaching on Foundation Learning courses and will also have a teaching commitment.

The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of SEND and have a teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards this qualification, a degree or similar in an appropriate discipline.
