An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Skills for Life (ESOL) who will lead and manage the provision to ensure that a high-quality experience is delivered in line with College targets that meets the needs of the students and the local community and delivers excellent achievement.

The successful candidate will have a keen sense of responsibility, ownership and a 'can do' approach to addressing everyday challenges. The ideal candidate will have a degree and /or professional experience at an appropriate level and a teaching qualification, either a PGCE in ESOL or a Level 5 teaching qualification with a specialism in ESOL. They will have substantial knowledge and experience of delivering high quality Teaching, Learning & Assessment in ESOL, ideally within FE, and a record of delivering high achievement rates. They will have excellent interpersonal skills and experience in leading and developing a team of professionals and creating a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
