About Us Barton Peveril College is a highly successful sixth form College; a member of the Hampshire Sixth Form Colleges Partnership. We are situated in the Hampshire Borough of Eastleigh, six miles from Southampton. The College serves a community that includes a variety of rural and uran areas in south west Hampshire and the catchment area stretches from the Wiltshire border in the west to the Hamble river and Meon valley in the east. There are 1815 full-time 16-19 year students on roll at present. There are now 200 staff working at the college including 57 support staff. Student/NQT Information We welcome applications from NQTs to many of our teaching posts. We have the necessary mechanisms in place for NQTs to complete probationary year requirements including placements in local 11 - 16 schools if necessary.
